In their annual SME financing survey, Linkflow Capital shares some broad SME financing data for the year 2019 as well as flash figures for January to May 2020. Survey data is obtained from Linkflow Capital’s SME loan comparison portal provides a snapshot on SMEs ease of access to the financing ecosystem. Based on their dataset, SMEs’ access to financing have improved over 2018 despite challenging economic landscape and conditions in 2019 due to US-China trade war. However, with Covid-19 wrecking its damage over the world, SMEs might find it tougher to navigate access to credit in 2020 and beyond.
